John was son to a herbal healer and a blacksmith, in the
highlands of the moor. A small village, not close to any royal
protection, the town was constantly raided by bandits. On one such
raid, his parents were killed when he was mere 14, leaving him to
fend for himself. Educated himself with the aid of a master
swordsman and a wise gypsy woman. John is skilled with many types of
blades and sometimes arcane ways. The travels of this man, had taken
him though the moors, over the mountains and onto the high seas at
time. Teaming with pirates, rogues and even nobleman when they
needed his blade to protect them at time. He is now a blade for
hire, with aspirations for land and control of the moors, and of
course.... revenge on the bandits responsible for his parents death.
His name of Ironsmith from his father's profession and the Iron he
wields. Watch out for this man, his
allegiance lies with the highest bidder!
